After a long career in Queensland, I moved to Tasmania in 2003 to pursue furniture designing and making, having maintained an interest for many years in furniture and antiques.
I felt the need to become skilled in traditional techniques and the theory of design. After completing my studies, I worked for the Australian School of Fine Furniture, before setting up my studio furniture business in 2007.
My philosophy is simple form and function; my goal is to develop a signature style by creating contemporary furniture to meet client needs and to use unique timbers from the Tasmanian forests in a sustainable manner.
